Fjällbacka , which has been a fishing village since the 1600s, is found in beautiful Bohuslän. The town is almost halfway between Gothenburg and Oslo, and just a few kilometres from the E6 motorway. As well as arriving by car or boat you can also get there on public transport. You’ll find details of the buses and trains that travel to Fjällbacka on Västtrafik’s website.

Route

If you’re arriving by car along the E6, turn off to Fjällbacka along road 163. When you reach the town turn right for the centre and harbour. You’ll find the hotel on the crossroads where Galärbacken meets Ingrid Bergmans Torg.

Parking is limited, but you can stop outside the hotel to drop off luggage.
