Our rooms

Captain Klassen sails the world’s oceans at the turn of the century and then decorates his dining room in the colors of the contemporary artist Carl Larsson, which gives a warm and welcoming impression. At the same time, he is vain and wants to show off his trophies from his travels. The captain gets to experience the transition from sailing ships to steam-powered ships, his dream is to one day own a steam-powered boat, this dream is painted on the north wall of the dining room. The Captain’s travels came to play a central role throughout the hotel when it came to the design of the rooms, in the lower floor are all the Captain’s favorite port cities, such as Buenos Aires, Casablanca, Mombasa, Bombay and Yokohama. These rooms are decorated with fabrics, furniture, paintings, etc. from each country.
